Area Sales Manager (South)

Key Skills/Experience Required:

Drive sales and profitability across your current customer portfolio.

Explore and follow through on new potential account opportunities.

Attend buyer meetings, agree joint business plans to drive sales

Strategic business planning, implementing this strategy

Attend trade shows when required

Organized, self-motivated, numerate and analytical.

Communicate with clients regularly to ensure excellent customer service is achieved.

Set and meet sales budgets

Be a team member who supports the business goals - Can do attitude

Be an effective team player building good working relationships with all internal departments

 

The Successful Area Sales Manager - Pet Products:

Proven track record in an Pet Products / Pet Accessories business

Currently excelling in an Area Sales Manager role selling into Pet Stores, Garden Centres and other independent retail stores

Experience building brands with key retailers and distribution partners

Account management - leveraging relationships and contact to drive increased sales & profits

New business - comfortable investigating new account opportunities

Positive approach and team player

 

Location: This is a field based role covering the South of England.
