it would be really great if you could support a small local charity called Alpets poundies which is run by a couple who are devoted to helping dogs in need with only their own money and donations kindly given by others. They take in strays on behalf of the local council which have been picked up by the dog warden and if not claimed within the timescale given try and find loving new homes for an array of poor dogs who just need love. They also take in dogs from other sources ie when the owner cannot keep them anymore for a variety of reasons, no dog is put to sleep hence they have several long termers who have been in kennels for a long time waiting for their forever families. They do this day in day out with rarely a break and all the monies raised goes to ensuring the dogs are warm, comfortable and fed as well as giving them love, patience and understanding. The rescue is based in rural South west wales not far from carmarthen and it would be great if you could help. Thank you michelle Elwell, lucky owner of several rescues from the rescue x
