Scruffs® Thermal Bedding & Noodle Dry Mat Steal the Show at PATS® 2016
Manchester-based pet bed specialists Scruffs® have reported a successful PATS Exhibition, with their Thermal Self-Heating beds and Super-Absorbent Noodle Dry Mats stealing the lime-light as retailers ready themselves for winter.
The Scruffs® Thermal self-heating dog bed collection is ideal for keeping your pet warm on those cold winter nights. Each bed contains a foam layer, backed with reflective foil. This layer is sandwiched between quilted polyester fibres and the beds main fill, it reflects body heat back to your pet, keeping them warm. The quilted hollow fibre lies beneath a super soft fleece cover this layer holds warm air around your pet providing added insulation.
The Scruffs® Noodle Dry Mat is extremely absorbent, easily soaking up excess moisture, enabling your dogs’ coat to dry quickly after a wet and muddy walk. Micro-fibre chenille is used to produce the dry mats' 'noodles'. The micro-fibre material is made from millions of textured, ultrafine strands woven together to achieve a surface area that is much greater than the actual size of the dry mat. This vast surface area gives the dry mat its’ super-absorbent properties, soaking up water just like a sponge, as well as improving airflow, this means drying time is greatly reduced.

SHOW STATS: PATS® Telford received record attendance this year, with the number of visitors attending the two-day show breaking the 2,000 mark for the second time in the exhibition’s eight-year history.
Organiser Gordon Thomas said many of the companies exhibiting at PATS Telford were eager to point out the quality of people visiting their stands had been of the highest standard.
“Exhibitors told us they met with the key decision makers and buyers, and that was good to hear because we put in place measures that ensured the right people attended.
“I also think the uncertainty caused by Britain’s vote on Europe has resulted in a decrease in the number of international visitors, as has been the case at a number of recent UK trade shows. I do feel that once things settle down, we will return to a high number of overseas buyers visiting our shows.”
