History of Crufts:

As we all know, Crufts is the greatest dog show on the plant. Hosted by The Kennel Club, Crufts celebrates every aspect of the role that dogs play in our lives. Now in it's 128th year, Crufts has changed in ways that couldn't possibly have been imagine when the show was first imagined.

Crufts celebrates the unique relationship that dogs share with their owners. Judges are specifically trained to ensure that only healthy dogs win prizes, which in turn encourages the breeding of healthy dogs.

The Kennel Club's "Breed Rescue" Programme:

The Kennel Club will once again have their "Breed Rescue" stand up and running at Crufts 2019. The Kennel Club, like other good dog rescue organisations, will always strive to match each applicant with an appropriate dog. There are certain criteria and questions which you will be asked to show you're ready for the commitment of adopting a rescue dog, so be prepared for a wide spectrum.

The YKC ring boasts a variety of competitions and displays over the four days, and senior members will be on hand to help competitors and offer advice to new members.
