Scruffs Donate Over £1,000 Worth of Most-Durable Collection in PBW Competition

Five Lucky PBW News Reader's share a prize jackpot of £1,100 worth of our Expedition Orthopaedic Pillow Beds this summer.

As part of the giveaway, five lucky retailers had a chance to win a full set of Scruffs® 100x70cm Expedition Dog Beds.

The Scruffs® Expedition pillow bed is part of our MEMORY series of orthopaedic pet beds. The bed is filled with crumb memory foam, these dense particles mould to the dogs’ shape, achieving an ultimate level of support. A robust 600-denier fabric is used for the cover. The fabric has a 100% water resistant backing to prevent the ingress of water. A Silver technology treatment is used to treat the top surface of the fabric, resulting in a 99.9% reduction of bacteria within 24hrs.

We'd like to congratulate the five winners and thank all the retailers who took part in this Giveaway, run by PBW News. And so, in no particular order, the winning entrants:

  • Stamford Animal & Pet Supplies
  • Melwood Animal & Pet Supplies
  • Willow Cottage Pets
  • Widmer Feeds Country Store
  • Stranton Pets

Pat Harrison from Stamford Animal & Pet Supplies and staff from Melwood Animal & Pet Supplies receiving their grand prize of over £1,000 worth of Scruffs® Most-Durable Bedding Collection recently.

Dubby Klyne, Sales Director at Scruffs®, said: "It's a very exciting opportunity for Scruffs® to be able to donate such a great prize, at an optimum selling time for this collection of our bedding.

The Expedition Dog Bed Collection is usually popular during the Spring, but given the poor start to the Summer weather-wise, the beds have been proving extremely popular for consumers and retailers alike."

Scruffs®, who celebrated their 10th birthday last year, have donated over £17,000 worth of products to various charities and competition winners over the past few years, including a 10-day giveaway event on the company’s Facebook page.

Scruffs® also donated a number of products to Manchester Dogs Home in November 2015 to help rebuild and support the home following it’s tragic fire.
